Tiny sparrows robust were a common feature on the walls and courtyard of homes on summer gently hopping and twittering merrily. But sadly they seem to have dissappeared.
And my joy knew no bounds when I heard that sound one day on my window -sill raking in lost memories of long summer carefree days bringing in nostalgia of soothing sounds no longer heard.
On cold glass facades
crow's raucous cacophony
rings discordant choir
with pigeon's dull warble-
small sparrows tweeting trill lost
