I have written a Blood Quill .It was invented in 2008 by Jim T. Henriksen .

The Blood Quill form has two stanzas, each made of six lines.  . Rhyming pattern is abcabc defdef, and rhythm pattern is 669669 669669.

a sun kissed wide terrace
with clobbered reedy soil
in corners a splatter of wild green
in tiny crevices
sway in a frail rejoice
ants foraging from their hills unseen

hidden from thrum around
etchings from vagrant mind
on muddy slate with a withered branch
dreamy soul's joy abounds
away from life's hard grind
weaving stories at will it's carte blanche
